Rebecca Thornburgh Performance Reserve

The Performance Reserve Fund was established to launch particularly ambitious programs or to fill a funding gap if a production’s expenses exceed expectations. This fund is a crucial tool in building MCP as a forward-thinking and artistically innovative organization. Most recently, the fund enabled MCP to meet the complex production demands to present the Philadelphia premiere of Tan Dun’s stunning “Water Passion After Saint Matthew.” This fund was named after Rebecca Thornburgh in 2021. Rebecca was a longtime singer and supporter who served as MCP's Personnel Manager and twice as Interim Executive Director.
