RITUALS: East/West Concert Video Available Online

In fall 2008 and summer 2010, composer Andrea Clearfield explored the Himalayan mountains of Nepal while studying the traditions of Tibetan folk and sacred music — all of which inspired this Clearfield commission Tse Go La (At the threshold of this life). Come and experience the Far East with us online in a program that represents a unique collaboration with the Pennsylvania Girlchoir, Philadelphia Tibetan community and Mendelssohn Club (original premiere April 2012). Also featured on this program is the magnificent Fauré Requiem and The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.
