Becca Fülöp


Becca Fülöp holds music degrees from Oberlin College (BA in music history and theory) and the University of Michigan (PhD in historical musicology). Her research and publications focus on intersections of music and gender in Hollywood film music. After teaching music history for several years at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the University of Michigan, she enrolled at the University of British Columbia, where she completed dual library and archival studies degrees. Becca has been the Performing Arts Librarian at Temple University since 2022, where in addition to serving as liaison to the music, theater, and dance programs, she also coordinates both the Beyond the Notes and Music in the Stacks library concert series. She has been active as a choral singer since 2012, singing with the Oberlin College Musical Union, the University Musical Society Choral Union at the University of Michigan, the Vancouver Bach Choir, and finally the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia.
