Corey Nashawn Anderson (Shawn) hails from Chicago, “The Windy City” He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Bachelor’s’ Degree in Voice from North Park University Chicago, and a Master of Music in Voice with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from Temple University. Shawn loves music and loves to sing! He also plays clarinet and has been since he was 5 years old. Mr. Anderson taught high school for 14 years in the Chicago Public School System, has taught many private lessons (instrumental and voice), and has sang in numerous choirs over the years. Shawn is a Preachers Kid (PK), so he grew up singing in church which is where he discovered his love for singing! He was drum major in high school which led to a love for conducting and the rest is history!
